Equipment

  • Baking Sheet – For placing the salmon fillets to bake.
  • Parchment Paper – To line the baking sheet for easy cleanup.
  • Mixing Bowl – To prepare the marinade.
  • Pastry Brush – For brushing the marinade over the salmon fillets.
  • Measuring Spoons – To measure out each ingredient accurately.

Ingredients

  • 4 Salmon Fillets about 6 oz each
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tsp Sea Salt
  • 1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 Tsp Fresh Rosemary chopped
  • 1 Tsp Fresh Thyme chopped
  • Lemon Slices for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven
Set your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to make cleanup easy.
  • Prepare the Salmon Fillets
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the baking sheet. Leave a little space between each fillet for even cooking.
  • Mix the Marinade
In a mixing bowl, combine the Olive Oil, Lemon Juice, Sea Salt, and Black Pepper. Stir until everything is well mixed.
  • Brush on the Marinade
Use a pastry brush to spread the marinade over each fillet. Make sure each one is coated fully for maximum flavor!
  • Add Fresh Herbs
Sprinkle the chopped Rosemary and Thyme evenly on top of the salmon fillets. These herbs add a fresh, earthy taste that goes perfectly with the salmon.
  • Bake the Salmon
Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes. The salmon is done when it’s opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Serve and Store
Serve immediately with a garnish of Lemon Slices. If you’re prepping for the week, let the salmon cool completely, then store in an airtight container in the fridge.
  • Reheat and Enjoy
When you’re ready to eat, reheat in the microwave or oven until warmed through. Pair it with your favorite veggies for a complete Paleo meal!
