Equipment

  • Grill – For cooking the salmon and giving it that smoky, caramelized finish.
  • Tongs – For flipping the salmon fillets gently without breaking them.
  • Mixing Bowl – To blend the honey lime glaze ingredients.
  • Brush – For applying the honey lime glaze evenly over the salmon.
  • Measuring Spoons – To measure out ingredients like honey, lime juice, and spices.

Ingredients

  • 2 Salmon Fillets about 6 oz each
  • 2 Tbsp Honey
  • 2 Tbsp Lime Juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Tsp Chili Powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Sea Salt
  • 1/4 Tsp Black Pepper
  • Lime Wedges for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat the Grill
Heat your grill to medium-high. Brush the grates with a bit of Olive Oil to prevent sticking.
  • Make the Honey Lime Glaze
In a small Mixing Bowl, combine Honey, Lime Juice, Chili Powder, Sea Salt, and Black Pepper. Stir well until the ingredients are fully blended.
  • Prepare the Salmon
Pat the Salmon Fillets dry with a paper towel. Brush a bit of Olive Oil over the fillets to help them grill evenly.
  • Apply the Glaze
Brush half of the honey lime mixture over the tops of the salmon fillets, coating them well. This glaze gives the salmon a caramelized crust with bold flavor.
  • Grill the Salmon
Place the salmon on the grill, skin side down, and cook for about 4-5 minutes. Flip the salmon with tongs, then brush the remaining glaze on the other side. Grill for another 4-5 minutes until it flakes easily with a fork.
  • Serve with Lime Wedges
Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a minute. Serve with Lime Wedges for a fresh, tangy finish that balances the sweet and spicy flavors.
